Small businesses finding their optimal search spends
Online Search Advertising in small businesses was up 43% last quarter. This is a reduction in the quarterly increases over the last year (rising by 159% in the second quarter of 2010, 111% in the first and 91% in the last quarter of 2009) but still a substantial increase.
Slower growth indicates that companies are finally working out what their ideal spends are on search advertising and hitting their desired numbers.
Another trend sweeping the internet is the use of video. With an increase of nearly 50% in the last year, almost 30% of all advertisers have produced videos on their landing page due to the fact that viewing videos was the second most popular conversion action coming close behind following a link through to an advertiser’s website.
The rapid growth in these trends on the internet is making it the most ideal way to generate new business and reach business objectives.
