Make Your Mark is an initiative by a not for profit company called Save the Children . The make your mark campaign aims at collecting 100,000 thumbprints to present to the Australian Government. The website aims to petitioning the government to do more about the 8.8 million children that die each year before their 5th birthday.

Friday worked in collaboration with a design studio called Diva Data www.divadata.com.au to produce a content managed website that would raise awareness about their plight. The website utilised the following features

  • Electronic Petition form
  • Events and news manager. Tying back from events Save the children were organising at various events including Moomba, Byron blues festival and Kiss my grass.
  • Social media integration. Including Facebook, twitter
  • Content managed ordering game (basic ordering game). In which users are asked to rank issues affection child poverty from highest to lowest.
  • Video Competition. A video competition was created that would allow visitors to the site to upload videos they had created and stored on you tube to the site.
